DC Doo-Wop From The Street Corner to the Stage: A Musical Journey

FreeThe African American Music Association in association with Westminster Presbyterian Church and the DC Legendary Musicians, Inc. presents a discussion with legendary singers and musicians from Washington, DC who were part of the Doo-Wop genre of African American popular music from 1948-1960, followed by a live vocal performance by the panelists (Ron “Poozie” Miles of the Rainbows, Gloria Jolivet of the legendary Bo Diddley band and Jimi Smooth and the DC Legendary Musicians Band ). A DC Hand Dance showcase by the National Hand Dance Association Classic Hand Dancers. Free Admission, No Registration Required.
