The PEN/Malamud Award for Excellence in the Short Story is among the nation’s most illustrious literary prizes for the short story. This year, PEN/Faulkner will honor Yiyun Li in a ceremony that will feature a reading, a conversation with American University Professor Patricia Park, and remarks by Janna Malamud Smith. The ceremony will be followed by a book signing and a reception with light refreshments.
