Closing Event: Celebrating the voices of hometown DC!
Celebrate the final weeks of hometown DC! In mid-September, neighborhood installations from across the District will be brought together at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Library.
Experience the complete exhibit celebrating Washington, DC as our hometown from Sept. 15 through Oct. 5.
Join us on September 16 in the MLK Library Auditorium for a special closing performance by the Verbal Gymnastics Theater Company. This interactive event will celebrate and highlight oral histories from the project and stories shared by audience members. This event is free and open to all ages.
