Today we join together with hundreds of nonprofits across the region, in supporting #DoMore24, a campaign created by the United Way of the National Capital Area to encourage people to give where they live.
The Humanities Council serves over 660,000 citizens every year, including thousands of students, with programming that focuses on literature, ethics, law, art history and criticism, and so much more. In order to do all of that important work, we need your support. Some of our generous Board members have set up a matching gift fund. For every new or increased donation we receive this year, our Board members will match it dollar for dollar, up to $6,000. I hope you’ll help us raise those matching funds by supporting the Humanities Council today on Do More 24, with a donation of $24 or more. Together, we can serve our city’s residents and youth, and keep the humanities alive in the Nation’s Capital for generations to come.
