We are pleased to announce our upcoming grant workshops and application deadlines for our first funding cycle of 2016. The first round includes our Soul of the City Grant, Major Grant, and Small Grant.
Our small grants workshops are a great way to learn about the funding preferences of each program, to master our online application process, and to network with fellow public humanities and arts practitioners. We highly recommend that first time applicants attend a workshop.
Soul of the City Grants are awarded in the amount of $10,000 for youth leadership programs modeled after HumanitiesDC’s own successful Soul of the City model.
Major Grants of up to $5000 usually support implementation of public humanities projects that will benefit large and diverse audiences of Washingtonians.
Small Grants of up to $1500 usually support research, planning, or smaller elements of larger projects.
All workshops are free and open to the public. Please complete a free registration below to attend.
