1968 was a pivotal year for Washington, DC. As we honor the 50th year of the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and the changes that occurred in our city and our country and our perceptions of one another – we are partnering with the Historic Preservation Office to support projects that capture the heritage of Washington, DC and preserve the stories from our city in1968.
